Cherise Dacquay Chudobiak

Cherise began the self-practice of Yoga in 2008, and embarked on sharing my passion with others by leading yoga classes in 2009. In June 2021 she completed her Registered Yoga Teacher training in Empowerment Project that focuses on the exploration of living yoga and its practices. She is also a Manitoba Fitness Council certified group, yoga fitness, Pilates and Active Older Adult fitness instructor.

"I truly feel drawn to the variety of qualities Yoga has to offer its students; from the physical aspects of challenging poses to the mental and emotional space abundantly created each time we step on or off the mat. Personally, Yoga has taught me how to get better at living. It's a perfect opportunity for anyone no matter the conditions to be curious about who they are as we deliberately stop and become present."

Doreen continues to teach yoga because yoga is a healing practice for others and for herself. She enjoys seeing people leave her classes relaxed, calm and content.
